Kay Bojesen is best known for his delightful and fun wooden animals. A brilliant Danish designer, his most notable design is a wooden monkey that was exhibited at the Victoria and Albert museum in London in the 1950's. In addition to the Monkey, Kay Bojesen designed and crafted a number of additional animals. His name isn't known by all, but if you collect or have an infatuation with Mid-Century Modern design, then you are sure to have come across one of Kay's wooden figurines. Kay's wooden toys are typically about 6-10 inches tall, with multiple adjustable limbs, so you can play and position them for endless fun. Here at France and Son we have reproduced a number of Kay Bojesen's classic figurines, so they can be more accessible to the masses.
