Is this item black or bronze? It says waxed black but in pic looks bronze?

Our manufacturer describes the finish as "waxed black", but its not a pure black color. I wouldn't call it bronze, but it has some warmer grey undertones that come through a little.
The allegra sideboard was advertised as $1,478 online with no tax and free shipping. Click on to site and has a different price?
