- Partial Assembly is required. The top comes expertly crated and ships on an a-frame to ensure the lowest possible damage rates.
- Each slab of solid marble is hand-selected for aesthetic quality. The pencil beveled edge creates a slimming lightness to the otherwise heavy material. The exact vein pattern and colors will vary slightly from unit to unit.

One of the most recognizable designs of the 1950s, this reproduction is inspired by Eero Saarinen’s pedestal collection. Saarinen used the smooth lines of modernism to clear up the “slum of legs” that he felt plagued most furniture design, and to give the pieces of the pedestal collection appearance of being a single unit. Unlike some who use fiberglass, our high-quality reproduction features a cast aluminum tulip shaped base strong and durable enough to easily hold the smooth carrara marble tabletop with pencil edged bevel. Polished to perfection the Italian marble top and glossy white base will brighten any room. A classic of industrial design, this dining table is a must for mid-century modern design enthusiasts, and will look great in any modern dining space. Pair with the pedestal side or arm chair for the ultimate in modern style.

Lead Times:
"In Stock" lead times are about 1-3 days for the shipping process to start! Transit times vary 2-5 weeks depending on the origin warehouse location and the destination address. Chat with us for more info.
"Available" items: these items can be ordered, but the lead time might be longer. They may be made to order, custom, or special orders. You can ask our team for more information, or we'll inform you of the estimated delivery times.

What makes us different: We take the additional steps of sending bulky items to professional receiving facilities, using specialized carriers that are professionally trained in furniture logistics, and then performing the your delivery after an additional layer of inspection. This premium process results in significantly less damage issues. The process is longer, but in the long run there's less aggravation for our customers. We prefer to do things the right way instead of at rushed pace like some of our competitors.
Shipping Service Levels:
Threshold Delivery: All small parcel shipments are delivered by a common carrier (Fedex, UPS, USPS). Threshold Delivery for Freight & Oversized shipments will be delivered to the first dry location outside of the home/building such as a porch or garage. If you have a long driveway some freight trucks cannot deliver onto the driveway.
White Glove Delivery: This service upgrade includes bringing the product(s) in to the room of your choice, removing the box, and performing basic furniture assembly. This service includes delivery up 1 flight of stairs and/or an elevator. This does not include lighting assembly or installations that would require mounting an item to a wall, ceiling, or modifying a customer's property in any way. This service is not refundable within 24 hours of delivery.
White Glove Delivery Premium: This service offers all of the white glove perks plus the addition of removing and disposing of the packaging and debris. This service is not refundable within 24 hours of delivery.
White Glove Delivery + Furniture Removal and Donation: Includes everything in premium, but with the addition of removing the old furniture and providing a tax deductible donation receipt for the removed product(s). More details here
Restrictions:
We ship nationwide excluding AK, HI, and some remote locations. Remote locations in addition to international shipments will be quoted on a case by case basis. Some examples of remote are but not limited to: Fire Island, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard...
Signatures will usually be required on shipments over $500.
Restricted locations may require quantity minimums or be undeliverable.You may have the option to pay extra for on a case by case basis.

Limited Warranty. The France and Son warrants to the Customer that the Products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of shipment of the Products to Customer (the "Limited Warranty"). The Company's SOLE OBLIGATION and Customer’s SOLE REMEDY in the event of a defect covered by this warranty will be, at Company's option, to (a) replace the defective Product, or (b) refund to Customer the purchase price paid by Distributor for such defective Product.
