Hiroshi Koshitaka, a self-taught designer with extensive experience in architectural installations and product design, meticulously oversees the entire process from concept to completion, working closely with artisans to ensure exceptional quality. Inspired by Japanese architecture and culture, Koshitaka has partnered with Currey & Company for many years, creating lighting that draws inspiration from nature, the heavens, Japanese culture, and architectural elements.

Alongside Mieko Koshitaka, who is influenced by Japanese handicrafts, and Kei Koimuma, with expertise in artistic metalworking and hand-weaving, Koshitaka has developed a lighting collection that marries drama and functionality. This collection features shades of blue star and natural finishes, exemplified in the new Senjyo designs and the enduringly popular Graduation chandeliers, capturing timeless elegance in every piece.
