About Lisa McDennon and Her Collaboration with Hinkley

In 2000, Lisa McDennon founded her interior design firm, Lisa McDennon Design, in Laguna Beach. Her unique style, inspired by the region's beauty, history, and culture, revitalizes Coastal California design. Lisa uses natural materials, elegant forms, and varied textures to create modern interiors that are sophisticated, unexpected, and timeless. Her boutique, Nuance, in Laguna Beach, features her contemporary, refined style through custom furniture, lighting, and linens.

Hinkley's collaboration with Lisa began in 2012 when she was selected to redesign their showroom for its grand reopening. The award-winning space she created reflects the latest interior design trends. This partnership grew as Lisa continued to elevate Hinkley's merchandising, window displays, and retail landscapes, creating fashionable, upscale environments. In 2015, a vision for a lighting collection emerged between Lisa and Hinkley CEO Rick Wiedemer. They aimed to blend Lisa's innovative design approach with Hinkley's lighting expertise.
