The Dalkeith table is a masterstroke in carving. The hand-carved oak base, fluted, chiseled and sanded, supports the amusing top with curled edges and inset with white Carrara marble. I would love to use this in a foyer or a loggia.

Jonathan Charles never compromise on design and would be foolish to compromise on quality. Only the finest materials are used in their furniture.They employ inspectors that ensure technically-sound components and design throughout the process. These experts oversee production, checking in at key transaction points so that nothing is overlooked. Before an item is packaged, it is reviewed with a keen eye and must pass a comprehensive checklist by our quality control inspector.
Lead Times:
"In Stock" lead times are about 1-3 days for the shipping process to start! Transit times vary 2-6 weeks depending on the origin warehouse location and the destination address. Oversized shipments west of the Mississippi may add up to 2 weeks to the delivery. Chat with us for more specific estimates. All communicated times are estimates and are in business days.
"Backordered" and "Pre-Order" items: We usually provide the restock date on the product page below the availability status. Contact us if one isn't already shown.
Unlimited Flat Rate Delivery: Flat rate delivery for oversized & fragile items:
We offer a simplified flat rate shipping rate on all oversized/fragile items, so no matter how many items you buy the flat rate stays the same. This means it's beneficial to bundle items together, and the more you buy the better the relative savings is.
Shipping Service Levels:
Doorstep Delivery:
This threshold level service is for freight, oversized, or fragile shipments that will be delivered to the first dry location outside of the home/building such as a porch or garage. If you have a long driveway some trucks may have to drop the item at the driveway entrance.
Concierge White Glove Delivery:
This service upgrade includes:

- Bringing the product(s) in to the room of your choice
- Removing the box
- Performing basic furniture assembly
- Removing the packaging and debris.
- Delivery up 1 flight of stairs and/or an elevator.
This does not include:

- Lighting assembly or installations
- Mounting an item to a wall, ceiling, or modifying a customer's property in any way (no drilling into walls, floors, or ceilings; no removal of doorframes...)
Important Disclaimers:

- This service is not refundable once the shipment process has started unless there's a carrier error.
- If an item doesn't fit into the space, then it will be left at the threshold or returned at the customers expense per our return policy.
- Keep your packaging if you plan on making a return, because additional fees will apply for returns with no packaging.
- In the case of a carrier error to perform the upgrade, then the difference between the upgrade and the performed service level will be refunded.
- Split shipments will incur additional shipping fees. If a customer requests to split a white glove delivery, then they'll be charged for another white glove delivery.
Small Parcel:
All small parcel shipments are delivered by a common carrier Fedex, UPS, or USPS. You'll get a tracking code after purchase that can be tracked on the carrier websites.
Concierge Delivery + Furniture Removal and Donation:
This is available on request. Ask our team if you're interested. It includes everything in white glove, but with the addition of removing the old furniture and donating the removed product(s) to a local charity. More details here
Priority Shipping and Expedited Processing Policy:
We offer priority shipping and expedited processing to help prioritize your order and get it shipped as quickly as possible. However, it’s important to note the following regarding expedited shipping fees:
- Non-Refundable Fees: All fees associated with expedited shipping and processing are non-refundable, including situations where the carrier does not meet the estimated transit times.
- Carrier Responsibility: While we make every effort to prioritize your order, transit times for expedited shipments are determined by the carrier and are beyond our control.
- Oversize/Freight Shipments: For large, heavy, or delicate freight items, expedited shipping may still be subject to additional handling and freight carrier schedules. Due to the nature of these shipments, faster delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

What makes us different:
We take the additional steps of sending bulky items to professional receiving facilities, using specialized carriers that are professionally trained in furniture logistics, and then performing the your delivery after an additional layer of inspection. This premium process results in significantly less damage issues. The process is longer, but in the long run there's less aggravation for our customers. We prefer to do things the right way instead of at rushed pace like some of our competitors.
Restrictions & Disclaimers:
We ship nationwide excluding AK, HI, and some remote locations. Remote locations in addition to international shipments will be quoted on a case by case basis. Some examples of remote are but not limited to: Fire Island, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard...
Some items have specific regional restrictions as well, and that will be noted on product pages.
Signatures will usually be required on shipments over $500.
Restricted locations may require quantity minimums or be undeliverable. You may have the option to pay extra for on a case by case basis.
Split shipments will incur additional shipping fees. By default we ship orders complete and together for efficiency. If a split shipment is requested, then additional shipping charges will apply.
France & Son is not responsible for any storage fees or held shipment charges that result from a delay in shipment. France & Son is not responsible for any charges that result from unapproved arrangements with the carriers.
France & Son is not liable for any fees that may be incurred from incorrect address or contact information. Any carrier related change-of-address fees will be passed onto the customer.
France & Son is not liable if a delivery cannot be performed due to an item not fitting into the delivery space, elevator, or threshold. Such items will be subject to our return policy and all applicable fees.
France and Son is not liable or responsible for any theft or loss that occurs after a delivery. We recommend adding Assure Shipping Protection at checkout for theft protection.
France and Son is not liable for anything that our carriers may do outside of the scope of the France and Son order and/or policies. This includes, but is not limited to, any upgrades or changes to the delivery that were made directly with the carrier.
Additional Information:
Limited Warranty. The France and Son warrants to the Customer that the Products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of shipment of the Products to Customer (the "Limited Warranty"). The Company's SOLE OBLIGATION and Customer’s SOLE REMEDY in the event of a defect covered by this warranty will be, at Company's option, to (a) replace the defective Product, or (b) refund to Customer the purchase price paid by Distributor for such defective Product.
