Traditional with a twist, the Sutter Writing Desk is crafted of Cathedral Oak Veneers with a classic silhouette and designer details such as shaped fluted legs, spool feet and a curved stretcher. The finish is a casual clear Oak revealing the tactile veneer pattern for a reclaimed look, with champagne-colored pulls and knobs. Featuring 3 drawers, the left and right drawers have a removable pencil tray and a writing slide that can be used in either drawer. The center drawer has a drop-front for keyboard use. A FC620 power bar is located in the back of the keyboard drawer with 2 electrical outlets, phone jack, high speed data ports and USB upstream. The Work Your Way program focuses on the new reality many consumers face as they continue to do much of their work from their homes. Available in five design styles, the program offers an assortment of key home office pieces for a variety of spaces Ð whether a dedicated executive home office or a more casual workstation. Ranging in scale and functionality, all of the groups within Work Your Way include an executive desk, a junior executive desk, a writing table, a lateral file, a credenza and hutch and a bookcase.

We offer a simplified flat rate shipping rate on all oversized/fragile items, so no matter how many items you buy the flat rate stays the same. This means it's beneficial to bundle items together, and the more you buy the better the relative savings is.

Lead Times: 

"In Stock" lead times are about 1-3 days for the shipping process to start! Transit times vary 2-5 weeks depending on the origin warehouse location and the destination address. Chat with us for more info. All times are estimates and in business days.

"Available" items: these items can be ordered, but the lead time might be longer. They may be made to order, custom, or special orders. You can ask our team for more information, or we'll inform you of the estimated delivery times.

"Backordered" items: contact us about the restock date if one isn't already shown.

Shipping Service Levels:

Doorstep Delivery: This threshold level service is for freight, oversized, or fragile shipments that will be delivered to the first dry location outside of the home/building such as a porch or garage. If you have a long driveway some trucks may have to drop the item at the driveway entrance.

Concierge Delivery: This service upgrade includes bringing the product(s) in to the room of your choice, removing the box, and performing basic furniture assembly, and removing the packaging and debris. This service includes delivery up 1 flight of stairs and/or an elevator. This does not include lighting assembly or installations that would require mounting an item to a wall, ceiling, or modifying a customer's property in any way. This service is not refundable once the shipment process has started.

Small Parcel:  All small parcel shipments are delivered by a common carrier Fedex, UPS, or USPS. You'll get a tracking code after purchase that can be tracked on the carrier websites.

Concierge Delivery + Furniture Removal and Donation: This is available on request. Ask our team if you're interested. It includes everything in white glove, but with the addition of removing the old furniture and providing a tax deductible donation receipt for the removed product(s). More details here

We offer priority shipping and expedited processing to help prioritize your order and get it shipped as quickly as possible. However, it’s important to note the following regarding expedited shipping fees:

  • Non-Refundable Fees: All fees associated with expedited shipping and processing are non-refundable, including situations where the carrier does not meet the estimated transit times.
  • Carrier Responsibility: While we make every effort to prioritize your order, transit times for expedited shipments are determined by the carrier and are beyond our control.
  • Freight Shipments: For large, heavy, or delicate freight items, expedited shipping may still be subject to additional handling and freight carrier schedules. Due to the nature of these shipments, faster delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

Restrictions:

We ship nationwide excluding AK, HI, and some remote locations. Remote locations in addition to international shipments will be quoted on a case by case basis. Some examples of remote are but not limited to: Fire Island, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard...

Some items have specific regional restrictions as well, and that will be noted on product pages.

Signatures will usually be required on shipments over $500.

Restricted locations may require quantity minimums or be undeliverable.You may have the option to pay extra for on a case by case basis.

The France and Son warrants to the Customer that the Products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of shipment of the Products to Customer (the "Limited Warranty").
